Jakarta, VIVA – Berries are widely recognized for their nutritional value. Raspberries, known for their balance of sweetness and tartness, are high in Vitamin C and antioxidants, which can support the immune system. Blackberries, with their deep flavor and high fiber content, are rich in anthocyanins that contribute to overall well-being. Both berries can be enjoyed on their own or as part of a variety of dishes, such as smoothies, salads, desserts, and beverages. Driscoll’s, established in California in 1904, has a long history of producing berries through natural breeding techniques. The company is noted for its rigorous quality control and focus on ensuring freshness and flavor in every harvest. Currently the company is hosting a series of events across Indonesia to introduce the health benefits and versatility of raspberries and blackberries. The initiative, titled “Berries On The Go,” runs from January 5–25, 2025, and includes interactive activities at multiple locations. As part of a broader international program, the campaign aims to raise awareness about the role of berries in a balanced diet. “This initiative encourages Indonesians to explore the health benefits of incorporating berries into their daily lives,” said Andy Sun, Senior Director of Driscoll’s Asia. The “Berries On The Go” events include opportunities for attendees to learn more about berries and sample fresh raspberries and blackberries. The events are scheduled as follows: January 5–13, 2025: Heirloomarket at Chillax, Sudirman (11 AM–7 PM) Attendees can also participate in various activities to engage with the topic of healthy eating.
