Jakarta, VIVA – Bank Indonesia (BI) announced plans to increase microprudential liquidity policy incentives up to IDR 80 trillion to support President Prabowo Subianto’s 3 Million Houses Program.
Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry Warjiyo, stated that the microprudential liquidity incentives would be provided to banks that channel their credit into the housing sector. These incentives will be rolled out gradually.
“We're currently providing IDR 23.19 trillion. Following our discussions, we will gradually raise it to IDR 80 trillion to support this housing program,” Warjiyo said on Wednesday (Feb 12)
Warjiyo emphasized that increasing the KLM incentives reflects Bank Indonesia's support for the programs under Prabowo's Asta Cita agenda.

“With powerful synergy, these various programs can be realized, and our economic growth will be even higher,” he remarked.
He also highlighted that the housing sector plays a crucial role in boosting economic growth and creating jobs.
“If the housing sector thrives, it not only drives economic growth but also stimulates other sectors. Building homes requires cement, bricks, and steel, which in turn generates employment opportunities,” he concluded.
