Last year, our trade volume reached 4.3 billion US dollars. In the first four months of this year, trade has already grown by 40 percent,” president Putin stated. In the energy sector, Russia expressed readiness to expand energy supplies to Indonesia. On the people-to-people front, cultural and educational ties are also being strengthened. “Russian language education and training centers have been opened in Indonesia’s capital Jakarta and on the island of Bali.
