It also includes cooperation in organizing and participating in trade exhibitions.

The signing took place during the Indonesia-Thailand CEO Forum, in conjunction with President Prabowo Subianto’s official visit to Thailand.

The event was witnessed by Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto.

Furthermore, the cooperation includes business delegation exchanges and support for business visits.

This initiative is also supported by the Thailand Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, which will act as the main liaison between the two organizations and as a facilitator for bilateral private-sector collaboration.

Kadin recorded that in 2024, Indonesia ranked as Thailand’s 8th largest trading partner, with a total trade value reaching 643.9 billion Thai Baht—an increase of 1.19 percent from the previous year.

Both countries have potential as production bases, export hubs, and regional connectors in strategic sectors such as agri-food, renewable energy, automotive, tourism, healthcare, and the digital economy.

Therefore, this close partnership between the Board of Trade of Thailand and Kadin Indonesia is expected to strengthen business networks, open new trade opportunities, and explore sustainable economic development strategies to enhance ASEAN regional economic stability.
